The ES-IP system represents the next generation of EASYSUITE, offering a modular, scalable, and workflow-based approach. Its core component is the new Olympus digital hub, which provides flexibility to run current software applications and potential future multi-specialty apps developed by Olympus.

The ES-IP system offers various benefits, including hardware expansion support and seamless integration with other medical devices. It provides an AVoIP solution for digital operating rooms and catheterization labs, enabling clinicians to capture and display live endoscope visuals and vital information.
ES-IP also emphasizes IT security with a certificate-based architecture, ensuring secure connections between devices and rooms and preventing unauthorized access from unknown devices. The system has undergone third-party penetration testing to address potential vulnerabilities in devices and web applications.
This launch is part of Olympus' broader digital strategy, which includes the recent acquisition of Odin Vision, a cloud-AI endoscopy startup. Olympus plans to establish Digital Excellence Centers and leverage Odin Vision's AI-powered portfolio of computer-aided detection and diagnostic solutions to collect and analyze real-time procedural, clinical, and medical device data.
