Orthopedic Care Partners (OCP) has recently announced a strategic partnership with the American Spine & Orthopaedic Institute (ASOI), a highly respected practice specializing in complex spine conditions for both adults and children. ASOI, based in Orlando, FL, was founded by Dr. James Manzanares, a renowned expert in the field. The institute has gained a strong reputation for its comprehensive approach to spine-related issues, employing both traditional and minimally invasive techniques. ASOI's areas of expertise include minimally invasive spinal surgery, advanced spine reconstruction, and sports-related injuries.
Dr. Manzanares completed his medical education and residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He furthered his training in pediatric orthopedics at the Nemours Children's Clinic and completed a fellowship in advanced spine reconstruction at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Manzanares also served in the US Armed Forces, completing multiple tours in Iraq and serving in Egypt and Germany.
ASOI's primary focus is always on the well-being of the patient, a principle that aligns perfectly with OCP's patient-centric approach.
Dr. Rich Gilbert, CEO of OCP, expressed excitement about the partnership with ASOI, emphasizing the institute's specialization in complex spine pathology for patients of all ages. This collaboration expands OCP's range of services, allowing them to provide high-quality care for a broader spectrum of orthopedic conditions. Dr. Gilbert added that OCP's strategy involves partnering with leading practices that offer comprehensive and exceptional care.
Dr. Manzanares emphasized the benefits of the affiliation with OCP, stating that it will enhance ASOI's ability to provide world-class spinal and orthopedic care to patients in central Florida. He looks forward to leveraging OCP's resources and network to optimize patient outcomes, maintain their focus on minimally invasive techniques, and prioritize patients in every aspect of their practice.
