St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group Launches Innovative Cancer Clinic

Friday, May 17, 2024

Beginning May 20, the OSF HealthCare Daniel J. Kobasic Cancer Clinic will open its doors, situated within OSF St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group.

This clinic represents a significant expansion in oncology and hematology services, catering to both current and future patient needs.

It boasts a larger arrival and waiting area, five examination rooms, and 10 infusion bays featuring windows and iPads for patient comfort and engagement.

The facility also offers nurse navigator services and on-site support services, housed in a dedicated building on the hospital campus.

In 2022, OSF St. Francis Hospital received $1.5 million in federal funding, thanks to the efforts of U.S. Senator Gary Peters.

This funding, supported by Senator Peters, formed the foundation of the project and allowed the OSF HealthCare Foundation to initiate a successful capital fundraising campaign. A significant contribution of $1 million was made by the Daniel J. Kobasic Foundation.

Since 1994, oncology services at OSF St. Francis have been provided through a partnership with Green Bay Oncology, demonstrating their dedication to serving the local community.
