The forthcoming Texas Children's Hospital North Austin Campus, valued at $485 million, is poised to revolutionize pediatric and women's healthcare in Texas. Scheduled to initiate inpatient services at its expansive 365,000 square-foot site, the facility represents a significant advancement in medical care delivery. Outpatient services are slated to commence on February 5, 2024, at its location on 9835 North Lake Creek Parkway.

This expansion underscores Texas Children's unwavering dedication to excellence, further establishing its position as the largest children's hospital in the United States and a premier destination for pediatric and women's healthcare statewide. With four campuses, including the prestigious Texas Medical Center, Texas Children's is extending its renowned level of care throughout Texas.

Encompassing nearly 25 acres, the new campus not only promises state-of-the-art medical facilities but also the creation of over 1,100 jobs, spanning a diverse array of nationally recognized specialties. The hospital, spanning five floors, and the 170,000 square-foot outpatient building are seamlessly integrated under one roof, ensuring comprehensive and accessible care for patients and their families.

Featuring specialized units such as neonatal, cardiovascular, and pediatric intensive care, along with operating rooms and a fetal center for advanced interventions, the campus is equipped to address complex medical needs. Additionally, it features a full-service emergency center, secure rooms for behavioral health cases, and multiple transportation options, including Kangaroo Crew ambulances and helicopters.

In close proximity to the Emergency Center, Texas Children's Urgent Care provides families with an alternative care option, promoting accessibility and convenience. The outpatient building serves as a gateway to Texas Children's Pediatrics, the nation's largest primary care network, offering an extensive range of clinical specialties and wellness services.

With an eye toward future expansion, the campus has been meticulously designed to accommodate additional outpatient and hospital structures, underscoring Texas Children's commitment to evolving healthcare demands.
