ZOLL®, a leading medical device and software solutions manufacturer, has partnered with BrainCool, a specialized medical device company focused on temperature management solutions. Under an exclusive distribution agreement, ZOLL will now distribute BrainCool's IQool™ System and IQool™ System Pads in the United States and key European markets, with plans to expand to selected markets in Asia.
With this partnership, ZOLL's temperature management portfolio is broadened to include both intravascular technology and surface options. This diverse range of advanced solutions with precise temperature control and intelligent analytics aims to cater to the specific needs of critical care settings.
The BrainCool™ System, branded as IQool™ System in the U.S., is an advanced surface temperature management system equipped with gel-free and adhesive-free pads. This system is designed to effectively manage patient temperature and maintain fever control in critical care environments. It offers an intuitive user interface, programmable protocol settings, and acute temperature control capabilities.
