Parkview Health to Build $200 Million Hospital in West Lafayette
Introduction
Parkview Health has confirmed plans to build a full-service hospital and medical office building in West Lafayette, Indiana, with an estimated investment of around $200 million. The project, located near the junction of N 100 W and Kalberer Road on land purchased from the Purdue Research Foundation, aims to address the growing healthcare needs of Tippecanoe County.
Features
The new hospital will cover approximately 200,000 square feet and include up to 40 inpatient beds.
It will feature a 24-hour emergency department, surgical and procedural services, diagnostic imaging, laboratory facilities, and a wide range of outpatient services. The design will also include space for future expansion.
Alongside the hospital, a medical office building will be developed to provide primary and specialist care. Some of these services are expected to open before the hospital itself becomes operational.
The development is set to create around 250 jobs across clinical and non-clinical roles, making Parkview one of the largest employers in West Lafayette.
The facility will also strengthen healthcare capacity in response to rapid regional growth, driven in part by large-scale investments such as SK hynix’s technology operations in the area.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026, with the hospital expected to open in 2028.
