UTMHealthcare Collaborates with FirstHx to Enhance Medical Outcomes

Wednesday, April 24, 2024

UTMHealthcare, a leading mobile health technology company, has announced a partnership with FirstHx, a clinician-led innovator in AI-powered patient intake solutions. Aim to integrate their respective technologies to provide clinicians with a comprehensive view of patient health. This collaboration is intended to improve health outcomes, care quality, and the patient experience, while also reducing the administrative burden on the healthcare system.

The partnership aims to combine elements of each technology to create a more precise and complete view of overall patient health. Clinicians will be able to access an accurate patient-supplied history alongside metrics measuring current health.

UTMHealthcare’s Remote Patient Monitoring platform enables patients with chronic diseases to monitor their conditions and transmit real-time diagnostic information to care managers. This allows medical practitioners to adjust treatment promptly as needed or schedule in-person visits, thus preventing complications and hospital admissions.

Accurate medical history is crucial for effective medical care, but gaps and omissions are common. FirstHx’s AI-guided history-taking smartphone application allows patients to create a comprehensive medical history that seamlessly integrates with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Expressed optimism about the transformative potential of this collaboration. He believes that improved access to patient medical histories supplemented with real-time clinical indicators can revolutionize patient care.

Anticipating improvements in provider productivity, health outcomes, and the patient experience. He emphasized that the combination of precise medical histories from FirstHx and real-time patient monitoring data from UTMHealthcare will enable providers to enhance care planning and patient outcomes.

The parties have recently formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding, paving the way for joint development of new products.
