AdventHealth Invests $26M in Emergency Department Construction in Pasco County
Introduction:
AdventHealth and Pasco County have launched the $26M Meadow Pointe off-site Emergency Room project. Situated between AdventHealth Wesley Chapel and AdventHealth Zephyrhills, this new facility will serve the expanding local population.
Features:
The new Meadow Pointe off-site Emergency Room, located at 5170 Chapel Commerce Drive, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543, is a 13,000-square-foot facility under construction.
The new AdventHealth Meadow Pointe ER will join the organization’s network of eight freestanding emergency rooms in the Tampa Bay Area.
The Emergency Department will feature:
- 12 patient beds
- Two triage rooms
- Imaging and lab services
The new emergency department will also generate over 30 new job opportunities within the Pasco County community.
This network also includes 21 ambulances and AdventHealth AirStar 1, a dedicated medical helicopter for critical transport throughout the region.
Pasco County's rapid growth demands expanded emergency care and better access to AdventHealth’s network. The new facility will be crucial in delivering timely, professional care to the community.
The project is anticipated to be finished by the first half of 2025.
