AdventHealth Invests US$247 million to Expand Healthcare Facility in USA

Introduction:

AdventHealth is investing $247 million in the development of its healthcare centre in Lenexa, Kansas, USA, with the aim of expanding hospital and emergency services.

Features:

Advent Health Lenexa City Centre, situated at the intersection of 86th Street and Renner Boulevard, will span 25 acres and serve as a mixed-use campus, offering a range of medical and retail services.

The first phase of development will include a 98-bed hospital and a three-story, 56,000-square-foot medical office building. The full-service hospital will feature an emergency room, surgical capabilities, an intensive care unit, cardiac care, and other amenities.

Construction work on the foundation and grading began in the summer of 2022, with the completion of phase one expected by mid-2025.

AdventHealth has partnered with Henderson Engineers, HKS, Inc. Architects, Bob D. Campbell &Co., Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting, Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., and GE Johnson Construction Co. to design, build, and develop the new facility.
