Arkansas Children's has unveiled its strategic plan to invest $318 million in clinical growth, aiming to deliver exceptional child healthcare in Arkansas.
The project aims to enhance accessibility, outcomes, and on-campus experiences within the renowned pediatric health system of the state.
Over the next eight years, construction will occur at Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH) in Little Rock and Arkansas Children's Northwest (ACNW) in Springdale.
The system-wide expansion plan includes an ambulatory surgery center, increased bed capacity, advanced surgical techniques for inpatient and outpatient care, restructured clinical spaces to facilitate multidisciplinary treatment, and a welcoming and easily accessible campus environment.
Polk Stanley Wilcox and Cromwell have been appointed as the architects, with construction oversight by Nabholz.
The planning and engineering teams are finalizing designs, which anticipate an additional 265,000 square feet of space and renovations exceeding 170,000 square feet.
The clinical expansion is scheduled to commence in the coming summer.
