Bartow Regional Medical Center Commits $110 Million to Expand Its Medical Facilities

Introduction:

Bartow Regional plans to expand its medical center to meet the needs of the people and growing demands.

Features:

The initial phase of the project is dedicated to significantly enhancing the hospital's capacity and functionality.

This includes expanding the Emergency Department by incorporating 27 additional examination areas, which will improve patient throughput and emergency care efficiency. 

Space will also be allocated to upgrade and enlarge the Sterile Processing Department, ensuring better support for surgical and procedural needs. 

Furthermore, the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will be relocated and expanded to accommodate more critical care patients. 

It also involves the development of additional facilities for the catheterization lab and operating rooms to support advanced medical procedures. 

Lastly, an increased number of patient rooms will be added to meet growing demands. 

The construction is anticipated to span several years.
