Christ Hospital Medical Center Announces $13M Expansion to Enhance Maternity Services in Liberty Township

Introduction

The Christ Hospital Medical Center – Liberty Township in Cincinnati is set to expand its birthing centre as part of a $13 million project to meet growing demand in the northern suburbs. The development will add more space and services to support families throughout pregnancy, birth and postnatal care.

Features

The project will add 8,800 square feet across two new patient care floors. It will increase the number of labour, delivery and postpartum rooms, providing greater comfort and privacy for mothers and babies. 

The design focuses on calm, welcoming surroundings and responds to patient requests for additional birthing options, including dedicated areas to support hydrotherapy births. 
The latest investment aims to improve access to maternity care closer to where families live and work.

Year of Completion

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
