ChristianaCare Breaks Ground on $92.3 Million Middletown Health Center

Introduction

ChristianaCare has begun construction on a new $92.3 million Health Center in Middletown, Delaware, as part of a broader $865 million investment in the state over the next three years. The facility aims to expand access to affordable, high-quality healthcare for families in southern New Castle County and northern Kent County.

Features

The 87,000-square-foot health centre will be located at 621 Middletown Odessa Road, adjacent to ChristianaCare’s existing freestanding emergency department. 

Designed as a modern, multidisciplinary hub, it will provide a wide range of services to the community and create more than 70 full-time jobs, supporting both local healthcare and the economy.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in spring 2027.
