Lecom Health Commences Building a New NED, ICU in the USA

Introduction:

Lecom Health has begun building a new 34,000 square foot emergency department and intensive care unit in the United States.

Features:

The new facility will have eight treatment rooms, two trauma rooms, and six patient rooms specifically for behavioral health on the first floor. This will make it possible for the hospital to offer individuals in need more thorough care.

The intensive care unit (ICU) will be located on the hospital's second floor. It will have fourteen private medical/surgical patient rooms as well as six new critical care patient beds. The hospital will be able to give individuals who are in need of critical care the best care possible due to these extra resources.

Along with a new emergency entry and exit just off Peach Street, the plans also include a designated ambulance-only drop-off location.

By the end of 2024, construction is expected to be completed.
