Mather Hospital Invests Us$52 Million In Emergency Care Construction

Introduction:

Mather Hospital has invested US$52 million in the construction of a 26,000-square-foot Emergency Department in New York, USA.

Features:

The new facility will be introduced as Frey Family Emergency Department.

The upcoming Emergency Department will be double the size of Mather's current one, prioritizing patient privacy, caregiver support, process efficiency, and patient safety best practices.

Located on the hospital's north side, the new building will feature individual private rooms and a split-flow architecture, expediting treatment and discharge for lower-acuity cases and providing optimal care for higher-acuity conditions.

Advanced imaging services including X-ray, ultrasound, and CT technology will be available, along with dedicated isolation rooms for infectious disease control and specialized treatment spaces for patients facing mental health crises.

The construction of the new Emergency Department is anticipated to be completed by 2025.
