Mercy Announces Multi-Phase $90 Million Investment to Improve Healthcare in Fort Smith

Introduction

Mercy has announced the first phase of a long-term investment plan in Fort Smith, aimed at improving healthcare services across the River Valley region in the United States. 

Features 

The first phase of the development will focus on upgrading key areas of the hospital campus, including diagnostic services, outpatient clinics, inpatient units, imaging, and laboratory facilities. 

The improvements are designed to increase access to medical care, support faster diagnosis and treatment, and improve the overall patient experience through updated and more comfortable care spaces.

The project also includes the addition of new doctors and healthcare staff to strengthen service delivery. 

Alongside this, existing services such as preventive care, imaging, and therapy will be expanded, while digital and clinical systems will be upgraded to improve efficiency and care coordination.
