Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego has initiated its most extensive construction project to date as part of a comprehensive campus redevelopment strategy.

This project involves the creation of a seven-story Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Services Pavilion, encompassing 500,000 square feet

A modernized emergency department, Advanced pediatric, neonatal, and cardiac intensive care units.

Cutting-edge operating rooms, Inviting and child-friendly spaces, Spacious individual patient rooms with accommodations for caregivers, Adaptable spaces designed to accommodate evolving healthcare needs.

A total of 140 intensive care unit beds and four operating rooms, Expansion of the emergency department from 46 to 86 rooms, Enhanced provisions for behavioral health services.

Interior design featuring serene and child-friendly themes. Distinct regional themes on each level, such as "High Desert" and "Low Desert."

Outdoor areas featuring a park-like esplanade with pleasing landscaping, open spaces, and seating for both families and staff.

This project represents a significant milestone in the hospital's ongoing efforts to enhance its facilities and services.
