Seacoast Breaks Ground on McLeod Center for Cancer Treatment and Research, a $32 Million Project


Horry County celebrates a major milestone with the unveiling of its inaugural Comprehensive Cancer Center, consolidating all cancer treatment services under one roof. 

The Cancer Center will be situated in Horry County, catering to the healthcare needs of local residents and surrounding communities.

It will provide a range of cancer care services, including medical oncology, infusion (chemotherapy/immunotherapy), and radiation oncology.

The center will be equipped with advanced technology, such as a Stereotactic Radiosurgery Unit, Large Bore CT Scanner, and Digital PET/CT Scanner, offering cutting-edge cancer treatments.

A collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach to cancer treatment will be employed, promoting improved communication and coordination among healthcare teams.

The center will prioritize providing compassionate care to patients and their families, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being.

The project reflects McLeod Health's commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of the community and surrounding areas.
