Willis Knighton Health Invests $50M to Build New Medical Office in Ruston

Introduction

Willis Knighton Health has confirmed plans to develop a new 90,000-square-foot medical office building in Ruston, Louisiana. The project aims to improve access to primary and specialist healthcare across Ruston, Lincoln Parish and nearby areas.

Features

The four-storey facility will be located at 1100 Willow Glen Drive along the I-20 corridor. It will bring together existing Willis Knighton Physician Network clinics into one modern location while also allowing space for new services and medical specialists in the future. 

The site will support outpatient care and include a covered entrance, expanded parking and landscaping designed to complement the surroundings. 

Current services planned for relocation include family medicine, paediatrics, cardiology, orthopaedics and sports medicine, and obstetrics and gynaecology. 

Around 40 staff members currently based in Ruston clinics will move to the new facility once complete.

The $50 million investment will strengthen Willis Knighton’s presence in the region and support a more coordinated approach to patient care.

The development is expected to increase convenience for patients and create opportunities for further healthcare growth.

Groundbreaking is scheduled for 2026, with construction expected to take around 18 months, depending on weather conditions.
