Introduction:

Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) marked a significant construction milestone with a topping-off ceremony as the final steel beams were placed on the eighth floor of the Adams Neurosciences Center at the Saint Raphael Campus.

Features:

It will feature the 500,000-square-foot facility with two new patient towers housing 184 beds. It is the largest project of its kind in the state's history, aiming to enhance access to specialised care.

The centre will focus on mapping individual brain structures to offer personalised treatment for complex neurological disorders.

Patient rooms are being designed to prioritise both medical care and the needs of caregivers and families.

Additionally, the facility will integrate advancements from Yale Medical School researchers, allowing patients to benefit from new developments in gene therapy, ultrasound, and deep brain stimulation.
