Huxley Medical Launches First-of-Its-Kind SANSA Home Sleep Apnea Test

Huxley Medical has announced SANSA device for chest-worn, sleep apnea diagnostic patch. The patch is a first-of-its-kind, at-home diagnostic device designed for single-point skin contact, marking a significant advancement in medical technology.

Unlike other patches SANSA does not require additional attachments, wires, belts, or tubes. Its unique combination of sensors and materials accurately tracks eight physiological parameters: blood oxygen levels, heart rate derived from EKG, respiratory effort, chest movement, sleep stages, snoring, body position, and actigraphy.

SANSA device gives advanced signal processing and artificial intelligence to detect sleep disordered breathing while simultaneously providing an electrocardiogram (EKG) reference channel to record electrical signals from the heart.
