Bill Ellerkamp
VitalPath, a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) specializing in complex catheter technologies and precision laser components, has appointed Bill Ellerkamp as its Chief Executive Officer.
A seasoned executive with more than four decades of experience in the medical device and CDMO sectors, Mr. Ellerkamp brings a wealth of strategic leadership, operational expertise, and industry insight to his new role. Most recently, to Integer Holdings Corporation in early 2025.
Mr. Ellerkamp’s career has been deeply he served as President and CEO of Precision Coating, a premier provider of proprietary coating and surface technology solutions for the medical industry. Under his leadership, the company expanded its global footprint - including operations in Costa Rica - executed multiple strategic acquisitions, and invested heavily in innovation, automation, and infrastructure. His tenure culminated in the successful sale of Precision Coating rooted in advanced catheter and medical manufacturing solutions. He has held executive and board roles across several CDMOs and has served as an Industry Executive Partner at Inverness Graham Investments for over 15 years. His longstanding collaboration with Inverness Graham includes leadership roles at ExtruMed, a high-precision medical extrusion company, and AdvancedCath, a developer of complex catheter delivery systems.
As CEO of VitalPath, Mr. Ellerkamp will lead the company into its next phase of growth, leveraging his vast experience to strengthen strategic partnerships, expand global operations, and enhance the company’s position as a trusted partner for advanced catheter-based solutions.
