David Strutton
Crescendo Health, a company modernising clinical research data infrastructure, has appointed David Strutton, PhD, as Chief Scientific Officer. Dr. Strutton will lead the company's scientific strategy, evidence generation frameworks and customer solutions to advance patient-centric clinical research.
His responsibilities will include overseeing the scientific rigour of the Crescendo solution and working with life sciences sponsors on evidence strategy and study design. He will also drive research showing how health data infrastructure can speed up therapeutic development.
Dr. Strutton is a Senior Fellow at The Center for the Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health (CEVR), part of the Institute for Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies at Tufts Medical Center.
He earned his PhD at The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he also spent 20 years as an adjunct faculty member. His appointment brings deep expertise in health policy and evidence-based research to the company's leadership team.
