CraniUS Therapeutics LLC, a privately held neurotechnology company focused on innovative brain drug delivery solutions, has appointed Oray B. Boston Jr. to its Board of Directors.

Boston brings more than 35 years of global leadership experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. During his tenure at Johnson & Johnson, he held several senior executive leadership roles within DePuy Synthes.

Most recently, he served as Worldwide President of Trauma, Extremities, Craniomaxillofacial, Sports, and Animal Health. In this role, Boston led a diverse global business portfolio spanning both developed and emerging markets. He was responsible for driving commercialization strategies, guiding product development initiatives, and overseeing operational execution across multiple therapeutic segments.

Earlier in his career, Boston served as President of Global Biosurgery at Ethicon. He also held several leadership positions in sales, franchise strategy, and commercialization. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale product launches, expanded international market reach, and built high-performing commercial teams in complex and highly regulated healthcare environments. Boston currently serves on the Board of Directors of Keurig Dr Pepper.

CraniUS Therapeutics is currently developing NeuroPASS™, an investigational, fully implantable, skull-embedded platform designed for the temporal space. The technology aims to bypass the blood–brain barrier and enable targeted drug delivery directly to brain tissue.
