Dr. Ana M. Franceschi
Neurophet, an artificial intelligence company focused on the diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders, has appointed Ana M. Franceschi, MD, PhD, as a scientific advisor.
Dr. Franceschi is a globally recognised expert in dementia imaging with more than 20 years of experience in neuroimaging, and she is known for her work with MRI and PET imaging in neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease.
She currently serves as Director of Dementia Imaging and Director of Molecular Neuroimaging at Northwell Health. She is also an associate professor of radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital, Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Health at Hofstra/Northwell.
Dr. Franceschi is a key member of the Imaging Workgroup of ALZ-NET, and she chairs both the ACR Neuroradiology Research Committee and the ACR Neuro Commission Dementia Committee.
She also holds leadership positions with the ISMRM PET/MRI Study Group, SNMMI and the ASNR Alzheimer Disease, ARIA and Dementia Study Group.
