R. Scott Huennekens
QuidelOrtho Corporation has appointed John R. Chiminski and R. Scott Huennekens to its Board of Directors. These appointments are part of the company's strategy to strengthen its independent board with diverse expertise. Chiminski brings experience in medical diagnostics and pharmaceuticals, having served as CEO and Chair of Catalent, where he played a key role in its transformation into a market leader. Huennekens has a background in MedTech, with leadership roles at Verb Surgical, Volcano Corporation, and Digirad Corporation, and he currently serves as Chair of Envista Holdings and Hyperfine.
The appointments follow the resignation of James R. Prutow and Robert R. Schmidt from the Board in November 2024. With the new additions, the Board now consists of 11 directors, 10 of whom are independent. QuidelOrtho continues to focus on advancing diagnostics to improve patient outcomes.
