Jeffrey A. Craig
Baxter International Inc., a global leader in medtech, has announced the appointment of Jeffrey (Jay) A. Craig, former executive chair and CEO of Meritor Corporation, to its Board of Directors.
Craig will join Baxter’s Audit Committee, and his appointment is effective immediately, bringing the total number of directors to 12.
José (Joe) E. Almeida, Chair, President, and CEO of Baxter, commented on the appointment, stating, "We are excited to welcome Jay to Baxter’s board. His extensive experience as a former CEO, CFO, COO, and public company auditor will significantly enhance our Board's capabilities. Jay's broad-based business leadership and operational expertise are a tremendous complement to our current board members."
Almeida also highlighted Craig’s future contributions, noting, "Jay’s strategic insight and operational acumen will be invaluable as we continue to drive innovation and growth in the medtech industry."
