DarioHealth Appoints Healthcare Veteran Larry Leisure to Board of Directors

DarioHealth Corp., a leading provider of AI-powered digital health solutions, has appointed Lawrence (Larry) B. Leisure to its Board of Directors. With over 40 years of experience spanning healthcare leadership, managed care, and digital health innovation, Leisure brings a wealth of strategic insight to support Dario’s continued growth in the payer and employer markets.

Leisure’s career has encompassed a broad spectrum of healthcare sectors. He began in benefits consulting, ultimately becoming National Practice Leader at Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson), before transitioning into management consulting with leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Accenture. He later held senior executive positions at Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and UnitedHealth Group’s OptumInsight unit.

Leisure also has a strong background in healthcare investing, having served as an Operating Partner at Kleiner Perkins and co-founding Chicago Pacific Founders, a private equity firm focused on healthcare investments.

A passionate advocate for healthcare innovation, Leisure co-founded the Employer Health Innovation Roundtable, a coalition representing over six million lives. He currently serves as Chairman of the UCSF Rosenman Institute, sits on the Board of Advisors for UCLA Anderson School of Management, and is a Senior Advisor at Stanford’s Mussalem Center for BIODESIGN.

He holds a BA in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Leisure’s extensive experience in healthcare policy, reimbursement strategies, and value-based care will play a key role in shaping DarioHealth’s strategic direction as it scales its presence in the digital health landscape.
