Tina S. Nova
Truvian Health has appointed Dr. Tina S. Nova, Ph.D., to its Board of Directors. Dr. Nova brings over two decades of experience in diagnostics and biotech, having held executive roles at companies like Decipher Biosciences, where she led advancements in urologic cancer diagnostics before its $600 million acquisition by Veracyte. She has also worked at Illumina, Genoptix Medical Laboratory, and co-founded Genoptix, guiding it through a successful IPO and acquisition by Novartis.
Dr. Nova currently serves on the boards of Azenta, Exagen, and Rady’s Children’s Institute for Genomic Medicine. She holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside, and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine.
Her deep expertise in clinical diagnostics will help guide Truvian’s mission to make blood testing more accessible, accurate, and personalized, as the company advances its technology toward regulatory approvals for use in clinics, doctors' offices, and pharmacies.
