Xavier Bertrand
Boston Scientific has appointed Xavier Bertrand as President and Senior Vice President for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Bertrand, with 25 years of experience in the medtech industry, will lead the regional business and join the company’s Executive Committee.
Bertrand brings a wealth of experience from his leadership roles in Boston Scientific’s Peripheral Interventions, Healthcare Partnerships and Solutions, Structural Heart, and Interventional Cardiology businesses. His expertise in business development and finance across divisions positions him well to drive growth and innovation in the EMEA region.
His strategic focus will include expanding the company’s presence in the region, leveraging advanced technologies, and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity. Bertrand succeeds Eric Thépaut, who is retiring after a successful 10-year tenure.
