Bharath Sesha
Philips, a global leader in health technology, has announced the appointment of Bharath Sesha as the new Managing Director for the Indian subcontinent. In this role, Bharath will lead the company’s growth strategy in India, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Bharath will oversee Philips’ healthcare business in the region, headquartered in Gurgaon, and will also be responsible for managing Philips' operations across its key innovation hubs in India, including the Philips Innovation Campus (PIC) in Bangalore, the Healthcare Innovation Centre (HIC) in Pune, and Global Business Services (GBS) in Chennai.
Bharath Sesha succeeds Daniel Mazon, who served as Vice Chairman and Managing Director for the Philips Indian subcontinent, before moving to a global role at the company’s headquarters in the Netherlands.
Bharath brings over two decades of global experience to Philips, particularly in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Prior to joining Philips, he was the Managing Director at Heubach Colorants India Ltd., where he was known for his strategic leadership and ability to drive innovation while achieving world-class business performance. He holds a Master's degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and an MBA from the Institute for Technology & Management (ITM).
